Zelda Speedrunner Achieves Epic 100% Completion in Four-Day Marathon
Most players typically invest around 88 hours and 54 minutes into a single The Legend of Zelda game, but Twitch streamer Nukie has shattered that norm by completing every 3D title in the franchise within that same span. That’s right—Nukie achieved 100% completion in every 3D The Legend of Zelda game released since Ocarina of Time, all without taking a break, in under 90 hours.
This streamer doesn’t just play The Legend of Zelda games; she embodies them.
What’s even more impressive? This isn’t a one-off feat for Nukie. She previously completed a 100% run of every 3D Zelda game back in January 2023, as showcased on her YouTube channel. At that time, her speedrun didn’t include Tears of the Kingdom, which had yet to launch. That initial run clocked in at 56 hours.
With Tears of the Kingdom now part of her repertoire, Nukie’s 100% Zelda playthrough from December 22 featured the following 3D titles:
From an 18-minute speedrun of Ocarina of Time to a seven-minute run of Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Switch 2, there’s no shortage of remarkable achievements in The Legend of Zelda series. However, Nukie’s accomplishment stands out, especially considering the “no sleep” aspect—she played for nearly four consecutive days. Just think about that! Plus, the variety in gameplay is significant; each Zelda game offers a unique experience, and an older title like Majora’s Mask demands a completely different approach compared to the newer Nintendo Switch entries.
In a celebratory post on X, Nukie shared that it took her six years of practice to set this speedrun record, and she plans to “cherish [the speedrun] forever.” As she confidently states: “No one can stop me, I am on top of the world. I am that bitch. Fuck yeah.”
