BLAST Secures Long-Term Agreement to Manage Brawl Stars Esports Events
International tournament organizer BLAST has teamed up with Supercell to launch an expansive competitive scene for the mobile action game, Brawl Stars.
While the financial specifics of this partnership remain under wraps, BLAST has labeled it a multi-year agreement.
As part of this collaboration, BLAST will roll out a comprehensive global events calendar for Brawl Stars, produce live studio broadcasts and arena shows, and introduce innovative broadcasting techniques. The initiative will feature a total prize pool of $2 million USD and includes a commitment to 32 broadcast days each year, along with a new studio setup and a fresh lineup of on-air talent spread across six seasons.
“Brawl Stars boasts one of the most dedicated and engaged fanbases in mobile gaming, making it a true global sensation,” said BLAST Chief Business Officer Leo Matlock. “We’re excited to partner with Supercell to create a competitive entertainment experience that reflects the game’s vibrant energy. This multi-year commitment allows us to explore new formats, storytelling methods, standalone live events, and broadcasting strategies, ushering in a new era of entertainment for players and fans around the world. Additionally, we look forward to enhancing commercial opportunities in Brawl Stars esports for brands, media, and venues.”
The Brawl Stars Championship will span over 190 countries and territories, with regions organized as follows:
Top regional teams will qualify for each season’s standalone LAN events, with the competitive year divided into two major splits (Spring and Summer). Each split will consist of three months of online play, providing teams ample chances to rise through the ranks and compete on the global stage.
Each split will culminate in a LAN Finals event, kicking off with the Brawl Cup in May 2026. After the Summer split, a Last Chance Qualifier LAN will give teams one final opportunity to secure a spot in the Brawl Stars World Finals.
Further details regarding BLAST’s plans for Brawl Stars esports are expected to emerge in the early months of 2026. Previously, Brawl Stars was part of the Snapdragon Pro Series organized by ESL FACEIT Group, alongside titles like Free Fire, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, EA Sports FC Mobile, Clash of Clans, and Call of Duty Mobile.
