Marvel Rivals boldly introduces a fresh Lady Loki skin.

Deride Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone if you like, but give NetEase some credit for creatively engaging the hero shooter’s eager fanbase. Enter Lady Loki, a fresh costume for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a new, comics-accurate look for the Norse trickster god(dess).

Contrary to some predictions, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is not a skin for Hela. Instead, it’s a complete reskin of Loki, featuring new voice lines. Gameplay-wise, Lady Loki retains all of Loki’s abilities—Mystical Missile, Deception, and Doppelgänger—just with a revamped appearance that’s sure to entice players ready to spend their Lattice.

With this gender-bent skin for Loki now in play, fans are buzzing about the potential for more similar transformations, such as Gwenpool as the upcoming Deadpool, Jane Foster as Thor, and Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman. But will NetEase take the plunge and give us a one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That might depend on fan demand!
