January 2026 PlayStation Plus Free Games Announced

PlayStation has unveiled this month’s lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Starting January 6, all PS Plus members can grab Need For Speed Unbound, Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and Core Keeper, available until Monday, February 2.

Need For Speed Unbound takes players to Lakeshore City, a vibrant locale reminiscent of Chicago, featuring both single-player and multiplayer campaigns. Street racing is at the heart of the game, but players must also evade the police. As your “Heat” index escalates after each race, law enforcement will ramp up their pursuit, challenging players to build their reputation while staying one step ahead. Between races, there’s plenty of opportunity to customize vehicles and participate in weekly qualifiers for the ultimate street racing showdown: The Grand.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed marks the return of the beloved franchise, which was originally a Wii exclusive in 2010. This remaster enhances the visuals and gameplay, drawing players into the Wasteland, a realm filled with forgotten characters and concepts. In this adventure, Mickey Mouse must confront his long-lost brother, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and mend their relationship to escape the Wasteland.

Core Keeper offers a unique mix of cozy and survival gameplay, inviting players to explore a sprawling cavern filled with hidden treasures and secrets. Players can dig for relics and resources to craft tools, build bases, and delve deeper into the cavern. To take down the Titans, players will need to enhance their skills while managing animals, growing food, fishing, and cooking during their downtime.

If you haven’t yet claimed December’s free PlayStation Plus games, be sure to do so before Monday, January 5. December’s offerings include Lego Horizon Adventures, Killing Floor 3, The Outlast Trials, Synduality Echo of Ada, and Neon White.
