Valhallan Joins Forces with XP League in Exciting New Partnership
Valhallan, a youth-focused esports training academy, has announced its acquisition of XP League, a North American youth esports events company.
While the financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the two organizations will merge their operations to create what they claim will be the largest unified youth esports academy in North America.
Together, Valhallan and XP League will establish a fully integrated youth esports platform featuring numerous training centers and competitive venues across the United States. This platform will include coaching and curriculum tailored for youth development, a nationwide league competition with seasonal play, regional playoffs, tournaments, and national championships. Additionally, the league operations will allow for cross-competition between VHEL and XPL, with coach-led teams emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. The focus will be on age-appropriate, skill-based competitions that prioritize safety and integrity, while also nurturing a “digital athletics” pipeline for professional leagues in North America.
In this new structure, Valhallan will oversee competitive operations, league organization, and seasonal planning for XP League. Both entities are dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition for franchise owners, coaches, players, and families.
“This merger creates the first truly national infrastructure for youth esports,” stated Morris Jackson, CEO of Valhallan. “By merging XP League’s established competitive league system with Valhallan’s training centers, coaching, and curriculum, we’re building a future-ready platform that prioritizes development, safety, and opportunity.”
Andrew Aultman, COO of Valhallan, added, “For years, XP League has provided a trusted competitive environment for young players and families. Partnering with Valhallan enables XP League to significantly broaden access to professional coaching, standardized training, and national competition — all within a framework that parents and communities already trust.”
The newly formed company boasts over 50 locations across 20 states, allowing thousands of players already in the system to continue competing weekly, including hundreds of high school and middle school teams, youth organizations, church groups, and other LAN centers.
