New Trailer for Horror Action Film Starring Deadpool Actor Blends Die Hard Thrills with Rosemary’s Baby Chills

Zazie Beetz, known for her role in Deadpool 2, takes the spotlight in the first trailer for They Will Kill You, an action-horror flick produced by the director of It, Andy Muschietti. In this film, Beetz plays a young woman who moves into a posh Manhattan apartment, only to find out that her neighbors are part of a satanic cult planning to sacrifice her.

Luckily, Beetz’s character is no ordinary victim; she fights back against the devil-worshipping cultists with an arsenal that includes shotguns, knives, and even a flaming axe, showcasing her fierce survival instincts.

The official synopsis teases, “From New Line Cinema and Nocturna comes They Will Kill You. The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy where a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a twisted lair of a demonic cult, before she becomes their next offering in a uniquely bold, big-screen showdown filled with epic kills and wickedly dark humor.”

Joining Beetz in the cast are Heather Graham, Tom Felton, Patricia Arquette, Myha’La, and Paterson Joseph.

As a fan of both over-the-top action and spine-chilling horror, They Will Kill You seems like a perfect blend, reminiscent of classics like Die Hard and Rosemary’s Baby. While the trope of an unsuspecting hero with hidden combat skills might feel a bit familiar, I’m always here for a thrilling horror movie with memorable kills.

They Will Kill You is set to hit theaters on March 27. Keep an eye out for all the thrilling films coming in 2026 and beyond.
