Asus Unveils Hideo Kojima-Inspired Laptop Straight from the World of Death Stranding
You’ve sipped Hideo Kojima sake, checked the time on your Hideo Kojima watch, and even trekked through the wilderness in your Hideo Kojima exoskeleton. But are you ready to dive into gaming on your Hideo Kojima laptop? Kojima Productions has teamed up with Asus to unveil a limited edition ROG Flow Z13 that looks like it stepped straight out of Death Stranding.
Unveiled at CES 2026, this unique laptop represents a perfect blend of both brands. Kojima Productions and Asus have a history of creative collaborations, and this partnership might just be their most ambitious yet, following previous surprises like Hatsune Miku and Evangelion-themed products.
The ROG Flow Z13-KJP retains much of the standard Z13’s specs but adds a distinctive flair. It features a 13.4-inch, 180Hz 2.5K Nebula HDR touch display with a built-in kickstand. Under the hood, it packs an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor paired with Radeon 8060S Graphics, a fast-charging 70Wh battery, WiFi 7 support, and comes pre-loaded with Armoury Crate, complete with a special Kojima Productions theme.
The standout aspect is its design, crafted in collaboration with Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa, the lead designer at Kojima Productions. The chassis is made from carbon fiber and showcases unique branding details, while the keyboard features an unconventional shape with protruding corners, reminiscent of something from a sci-fi film or a classic Kojima game.
Adding to the design intrigue, it comes with a white carrying case that mimics the cargo from Death Stranding (though I wouldn’t recommend throwing it at your foes).
Alongside the Flow Z13-KJP, Asus is also launching several other Kojima-themed accessories available for separate purchase. These include special editions of the Delta II headset, Kersis II Origin mouse, and Scabbard II XXL mouse pad, all adorned with the studio’s mascot, Ludens.
While the ROG Flow Z13-KJP doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet, its price will remain under wraps until it hits the market, which is anticipated to be in mid to late Q1.
