New Avengers: Doomsday trailer hints at an epic team-up with the Fantastic Four and Black Panther.

The fourth teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has hit theaters, and it’s now made its way online for fans eager to catch a glimpse of what’s next from Marvel. This latest sneak peek showcases a diverse cast, featuring the Wakandans, the Talokanil, and possibly a member or two from the Fantastic Four.

The trailer kicks off with Shuri (Laetitia Wright), the current Black Panther, alongside King M’Baku (Winston Duke) and the Dora Milaje, interspersed with scenes of the Talokanil, including Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mejía) and Namora (Mabel Cadena). M’Baku then encounters the Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), though the specifics of their meeting remain unclear.

“I’ve lost everyone that matters to me,” Shuri narrates. “A king has his duties, to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.” M’Baku introduces himself to Ben, saying, “King M’Baku, of Wakanda.” Ben Grimm replies, “Ben. Uh, Yancy Street, between Broome and Grand.”

How this scene fits into the overall narrative of Avengers: Doomsday is still a puzzle, but it seems the Thing — and possibly other Fantastic Four members — find themselves in Talokanil territory. The Wakandans might be aiding the FF, who could have reasonably ended up there while journeying to the main MCU Earth, as hinted in the post-credits of Thunderbolts. It’s easy to imagine that the Talokanil wouldn’t be too welcoming to visitors from other dimensions after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Marvel Studios is rolling out a series of character-centric trailers for Avengers: Doomsday, with previous teasers spotlighting former Captain America Steve Rogers, Thor, and X-Men characters like Cyclops, Professor X, and Magneto. A more traditional and comprehensive trailer is expected to drop around Super Bowl LX on February 8. If Marvel sticks to its usual strategy, the fourth Doomsday trailer will likely be officially available on YouTube on January 13.

Alongside the Wakandans, Talokanil, and the Thing, Avengers: Doomsday features Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, with returning Marvel stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as the Winter Soldier, Letitia Wright as Shuri, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Joseph Quinn as the Human Torch, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as White Widow, Kelsey Grammer as the Beast, Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters on December 18, with a follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars, scheduled for December 2027.
