After Two Decades, Xbox 360 Collector Completes $20,000 Game Collection

Some collectors will go to great lengths to complete their gaming libraries, even if it takes decades. One dedicated gamer recently achieved this feat by acquiring every Xbox 360 game ever released. At the beginning of this year, they finally wrapped up their impressive collection, valued at around $20,000, with the last game being a gift from their son. A Reddit user known as uncleseeth showcased their extensive library in a post on the gaming subreddit on January 2. Their journey began on Christmas Day in 2005 when they received an Xbox 360 along with Neversoft’s Western shooter, Gun. This sparked an intense quest to track down every title for Microsoft’s seventh-generation console.

Uncleseeth’s collection boasts a staggering 1,353 games, far exceeding the 1,256 needed for a “complete set,” which doesn’t account for various game editions. Some titles were received as gifts, including Efecto Studios’ racer, El Chavo Kart, and an Xbox stand. Among the surprises in their collection was The Farm 51’s action-adventure game, Deadfall Adventures, which they noted had a bit of an Indiana Jones vibe. The final piece they needed was Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, which their son gifted them, marking the completion of their collection. With an estimated resale value of about $15 per game after two decades, the total comes to roughly $20,000. However, one standout title, F1 2013, is valued at around $250.

Equipped with an Xbox 360 Elite—after their first console succumbed to the infamous Red Ring of Death—and boasting a gamerscore of 497,000, uncleseeth’s next objective is to hunt down more game variants and play through their entire library. They’ve tackled about 800 of the games so far but have only completed around 175. That’s a massive gaming undertaking!
