Dad Attacked by Line Cutter at Disneyland in Front of Family
A father visiting Disneyland with his family found himself in a violent altercation after confronting a group cutting the long line for the Indiana Jones Adventure ride. Despite sustaining injuries that required stitches, he managed to remain in the park and enjoy some attractions.
On December 30, a family began bypassing the lengthy queue around 2 p.m. When they attempted to push past another family, the father of that family objected, leading to a heated argument. This confrontation escalated into a physical attack, with the leader of the line-cutting group reportedly punching the father several times in front of his wife and 17-year-old daughter.
A witness on Reddit described the incident as lasting about 30 seconds, noting that several bystanders intervened to break it up. However, the attacker still managed to land some blows before he paused, only to deliver one final punch that drew blood before fleeing the scene with his family.
A Disneyland representative confirmed that a “physical altercation” involving two male guests took place, and one individual received medical attention from the park’s staff. Local police reported that the alleged assailant escaped and has not been found.
A woman on Reddit, claiming to be the victim’s wife, stated that her husband refrained from fighting back to avoid being ejected from the park or facing assault charges. She also mentioned that their teenage daughter recorded the entire incident. A photo shared by the wife showed the father with multiple stitches above his right eye, and he was reportedly covered in blood. Disneyland provided him with new clothes and offered his children, aged 17 and 26, Lightning Lane access for the day.
Despite the incident, the family chose to stay in the park, and another image shared by someone claiming to be the daughter showed the father in line at Disneyland with a bandage over his eye.
