Call of Duty Introduces Vault-Themed Nuketown and New Fallout-Inspired Content
Season 1 Reloaded is set to launch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone on January 8, bringing an exciting midseason update that introduces a crossover event with the Fallout TV series. This update will immerse players in a wasteland experience, featuring Fallout-themed operator skins, limited-time game modes, and an event pass. The trailer showcases operator skins for Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul, inspired by the Amazon Prime Video adaptation of Fallout, along with additional vault dweller skins.
The Fallout event follows the established pattern of previous major crossovers in Call of Duty, such as those with TMNT and Squid Game, offering both free and paid event passes filled with cosmetic rewards. Typically, the paid event passes are priced around $10. Players can unlock The Ghoul and Maximus through the paid pass, while the vault dweller skins are available via the free pass. Lucy’s operator skin can be purchased as part of a shop bundle, usually costing about $20.
In addition to the new skins, three limited-time game modes will be introduced, all themed around the Fallout universe. Ghoul Infection reimagines the classic Infection mode with a Fallout twist, while Project RADs offers a ghoul-themed Zombies experience. Warzone will feature Power-Armor Royale, allowing players to don Fallout’s iconic power armor and wield miniguns in the battle royale setting.
Moreover, Treyarch’s beloved Nuketown map will receive a Fallout-inspired redesign, complete with mannequins dressed in blue vault suits. Be sure to explore all the new content in Season 1 Reloaded for Black Ops 7 and Warzone, including fresh weapons, multiplayer maps, and a mystery to unravel in Warzone.
