Arc Raiders: Skyward Quest Guide

If you enjoy exploring multiple maps for a single quest in Arc Raiders, you’re in for a treat with the Eyes in the Sky mission. This quest requires you to place LiDAR Scanners across three different locations, and completing it will demand a mix of skill, a bit of luck, and a trusty zipline. Let’s break it down.

You won’t need to extract to finish any part of Eyes in the Sky, so feel free to roll in with a free loadout for the Dam Battlegrounds and Spaceport tasks. However, for the Buried City segment, a zipline is essential to reach the required spot, so make sure to gear up accordingly. When you’re set to dive into this quest, here’s what you need to do.

**On Dam Battlegrounds, install a LiDAR Scanner at the Control Tower**
The first LiDAR Scanner installation is likely the most perilous. You’ll need to head to the bustling Control Tower POI located in the heart of the Dam Battlegrounds map. This area is often swarming with players engaged in PVP and those trying to access locked doors inside the building. Be prepared to take out a few opponents before you can proceed.

There are several ways to enter this POI, but approaching from the south is generally safer. Look for some stairs on the side of the building and ascend until you reach the main floor—stop after the first three flights. Dash toward the door at the end of the long outdoor hallway, then continue straight through the door on the opposite side.

Inside, head straight to find a breachable door. If someone has already passed through, it might be open, but if not, you’ll need to breach it quickly and hope no one sneaks up on you. Once the door is open, you’ll see ziplines going up and down. Take the one that goes upward, but first, check above for any turrets along the walls. They can shred you if you take the zipline without neutralizing them first. If the area has been cleared, you might not encounter any turrets, which could be a double-edged sword. Players often set traps near the popular key room above, so be cautious as you ascend.

If you trigger any traps, it’s wise to announce that you’re friendly and just on a quest to ease any tensions. However, if someone is aggressive, you may need to defend yourself. Worst-case scenario, you respawn and try again; best-case, you take out an opponent and snag some loot. Regardless of how it unfolds, your main goal isn’t the key room on the right but rather to navigate through the corridor to another breachable door at the top of some stairs. Once you breach this door, you’ll gain access to the Control Tower roof.

**On the Control Tower roof, place the LiDAR Scanner**
Once on the roof, move forward and slightly to the left to find a tripod. Interact with it to place your LiDAR Scanner. When you’re ready to leave, zip back down, but keep an eye out for raiders waiting at the bottom, anticipating loot from the key room above. As always, be prepared for a potential skirmish.

**On Spaceport, install a LiDAR Scanner at the Communications Tower**
Next, you’ll need to place a LiDAR Scanner at the Communications Tower on the eastern side of Spaceport. This area is usually quiet, making it the easiest of the three installations. When you arrive, simply climb the yellow ladder up to a platform.

On this platform, you’ll find another tripod to interact with and place your LiDAR Scanner. After that, head back down the ladder and extract when you’re ready to return.

**On Buried City, install a LiDAR Scanner on top of the Galleria sign**
The final LiDAR Scanner goes atop the Galleria sign on the eastern side of Buried City. A zipline is necessary to reach this tripod, and it’s a good idea to bring a couple, as zipline placements can be tricky.

Approach the Galleria from the south and climb onto the square structures on the building just south of it. Use the makeshift bridge to cross over to the Galleria rooftop. From there, deploy your zipline to connect to the upper part of the Galleria sign. Be careful not to place the zipline too low, or you’ll fall instead of reaching the platform you need.

Once you take the zipline up, you might need to jump slightly to land correctly, as overshooting can lead to significant damage. Upon reaching the platform, interact with the tripod to place the LiDAR Scanner. Also, check for a weapon case that often spawns here for a chance at a solid gun.

When you’re ready to wrap up this quest, head to any extraction point and make your way back to Speranza.
