Arc Raiders: A Guide to the “What We Left Behind” Quest

Arc Raiders features a variety of quests that take you across different maps, and one of these is What We Left Behind. This quest requires you to visit Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, and Spaceport to locate specific items. If you’re not yet familiar with the maps, tracking down the right locations can be tricky, but don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Since you won’t need to extract any items to complete the steps in What We Left Behind, feel free to go in with a basic loadout to protect your valuable gear. However, if you prefer to be prepared for combat, bringing your best equipment is always an option. Ready to dive in? Here’s how to tackle each step of What We Left Behind.

In Buried City, your first task is to search two containers in the Raider Camp beneath the Parking Garage. Head to the Parking Garage located in the northwestern part of Buried City. This area is popular for looting, so keep an eye out for other players. Once you arrive, go to the first floor and find the door marked “01.” You’ll need to breach this door, so make sure the area is clear before you do. After breaching, take the zipline down to the Raider Camp. Loot any two containers in this area to complete the first step. Once you’re done, you can extract and prepare for the next leg of your journey.

Next, you’ll head to Dam Battlegrounds to search for items at the South Swamp Outpost. This location is on the western side of the map and is generally safe with low traffic, but it’s wise to stay alert for any hostile players. Upon arrival, enter the large round room and interact with the stack of papers inside to finish this objective. With this part complete, you can extract and move on to the final step.

Finally, make your way to Spaceport and search for items in Bilguun’s Hideout, located next to the Container Storage. This depot is adjacent to a large cement wall and is usually unoccupied. As always, stay vigilant. When you arrive, look up to find Bilguun’s Hideout and use the yellow ladder to climb up. Inside, check the left side for notes you can interact with to complete this part of the quest.

After you’ve found the notes, you can wrap up the quest by extracting and then speaking with Tian Wen back in Speranza. That was quite the adventure, but don’t forget—there are plenty more quests waiting for you in Arc Raiders!
