Discovering Helium deposits in StarRupture is quick and easy—no need to mine meteorites!

You can start gathering Helium right away in StarRupture from the small meteorites scattered across the planet’s surface. Initially, you might not find it particularly useful, but once you familiarize yourself with resources like Wolfram, Titanium, and Calcium, you’ll want to stock up on Helium in larger quantities. Fortunately, the Helium locations are relatively close by.

It’s a good idea to bring a weapon and plenty of ammo, as you may encounter some monsters during your journey. Plus, you’ll be near the Stabilizer blueprint location, allowing you to grab that as well.

While there are several Helium deposits around the planet, the prime spot to find Helium-3 is almost directly east of your starting lander, near the Grubbler trees at the mountain’s base. Here, you can harvest from two Helium vents. Just remember, you’ll need a Helium-3 Extractor, which you unlock by reaching level six with the Slenian corporation, rather than the standard Ore Excavator.

Helium deposits are easy to spot, resembling large purple geysers. If you’ve upgraded your map, you’ll also see Helium marked as purple/pink patches. In addition to the vein east of the lander, there are two more deposits slightly further north, beyond the mountains.

Close to the Helium-3 deposits in the far east, you’ll discover new plants like Serpent Root and Prism Herb, along with a map beacon to help you explore more of the area.

Similar to the Calcium deposits, you’ll need to establish another base around the Helium deposit to set up the necessary machinery. So, place down a Base Core, generate and connect power properly, set up Helium-3 Extractors on the vents, and add any other production or storage machines you require.
