Discover the crucial Stabilizer blueprint location in StarRupture, but prepare for a battle!
Despite the comprehensive base-building tutorial in StarRupture, there’s a curious absence of blueprints—those collectible crafting recipes scattered across the planet. Since these essential items can sometimes hinder your progress, it’s a notable oversight. Fortunately, the location of the Stabilizer blueprint is relatively close by.
Similar to the Rotor and Tube blueprints found to the northwest and the Stator blueprint to the north, the initial schematics are just a short trek from your starting orbital lander. The Stabilizer blueprint is conveniently located near a prime Helium spot, which you’ll need for upcoming recipes, so it’s worth checking out while you’re in the vicinity.
Be cautious, as enemies lurk in the area. It’s wise to craft the starter Reaper pistol along with a few hundred rounds of ammo. Alternatively, if you arrive shortly after a Raptura event (essentially a solar flare), the area will be free of enemies for a brief period.
As shown in the video, the Stabilizer blueprint can be found at the CRO ‘Grey Owl’ outpost, also known as Claywood’s Research Outpost, located northeast of your starting lander. This outpost is nestled in the mountains, so you’ll need to navigate up into the hills and approach the facility from the north side. Look for a large staircase and massive pipes—it’s hard to miss.
Once you reach Claywood’s Research Outpost, ascend the stairs to the elevated area on your right. The Stabilizer blueprint is located in a blue chest at the top of the tower at the back of the outpost, requiring a few jumps to access. It’s straightforward, so don’t worry about it.
After grabbing the blueprint, head back to the Recipe Station at your base to add the schematic to the Stabilizer recipe. You’ll also need to gather 100 Rotors, 300 Titanium Tubes, and 600 Data Points, so make sure to pick up those blueprints as well.
As mentioned, this area is teeming with aliens that spawn continuously during normal planetary conditions. If you arrive during this time, be prepared with a weapon and plenty of ammo.
However, I recommend taking advantage of the brief period when the outpost (and all others) will be deserted after the Raptura storm leaves the planet scorched and barren. It may look eerie, but it’s much more tranquil. Or, if you’re feeling bold, you can always sprint past the enemies like I did.
