New Life Is Strange Title Surfaces in European Ratings Leak
The journey of Max Caulfield and her close friend, Chloe Price, was central to the original Life is Strange, and it seems they are set to reunite. A recent leak from the Pan-European Game Information hints at the next installment in the series, titled Life is Strange: Reunion, which aims to bring Max and Chloe back together after several years apart. In the first game, Max utilized her time-rewinding abilities to save Chloe, ultimately facing a tough decision between her friend’s life and the fate of their hometown. While Chloe was absent in the latest entry, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, the PEGI rating for Reunion suggests that both characters will encounter significant challenges. The game’s description states, “Chloe Price was Max Caulfield’s partner in time. Losing her is Max’s greatest regret. Now Chloe has come to Caledon University. Haunted by nightmares and impossible memories, Chloe needs Max’s help. But Max is already in crisis: in three days, a deadly inferno will destroy the campus.” The PEGI rating indicates that most violence is implied and includes some strong language. It also highlights a scene where players can choose to accept wine, only to discover it has been spiked with a hallucinogen. Life is Strange: Reunion is set to launch on PS5, according to the rating, though there’s no mention of a PC or Xbox Series X|S release. An official announcement about the game is expected soon. Additionally, a Life is Strange TV series was ordered by Prime Video late last year, although the original creators of the game are reportedly not involved in the project.
