Exciting new Sega mini arcade machines are on the way, and the Outrun cabinet’s compact steering wheel is sure to get your adrenaline pumping!

Uh oh, it seems my mini arcade obsession is about to escalate, as My Arcade has unveiled new Sega cabinets at CES 2026. Initially teased last year, this fresh lineup features a variety of Genesis/Mega Drive classics, but it’s the OutRun edition with its adorable mini steering wheel that has me particularly excited.

The new My Arcade mini collection, spotted on the CES show floor by a YouTuber, includes the OutRun machine alongside Golden Axe, Shinobi, and Streets of Rage editions. The video also showcases the already available Sonic the Hedgehog edition. While all these machines share a similar design, each one boasts unique marquee art and control schemes.

For those who have been eagerly anticipating these releases since last year, the good news is that they are expected to hit shelves this April. If you’re not picky about game titles, there are already some My Arcade cabinets available, and I’m currently testing the Street Fighter 2 version. However, if you’re looking to expand your collection alongside your Sega Astro City Mini, keep an eye out for this new wave.

My Arcade mini machines come in three different formats. While most utilize a straightforward joystick and button setup, there are some interesting variations. The Sonic the Hedgehog edition features a full-size stick and buttons on a longer deck, offering a unique and more authentic gaming experience.

The standout, however, is the OutRun version with its mini steering wheel, complete with a shift stick, brake and gas pedals, and even a music button. I can’t wait to take it for a spin to see how it plays, but it’s sure to look fantastic displayed alongside other mini cabs.

I’ll be testing a variety of My Arcade machines, handhelds, and gadgets throughout 2026, so stay tuned for more contenders in the retro console scene.
