Jsaux Sets Its Sights on the Steam Machine After Four Years of Success with the Steam Deck Dock

Back in 2022, I was among the first to try out a Jsaux Steam Deck dock. While third-party accessories usually don’t make waves, this one actually beat Valve’s official dock to the punch and set a trend for other brands to follow.

Fast forward to CES 2026, and Jsaux has just revealed plans to support the Steam Machine with a lineup of future accessories. They’re kicking things off with faceplate stickers that will give the cube a look straight out of the MCU, something Loki would definitely snatch. But that’s just the beginning; Jsaux has hinted at even more ambitious plans for replaceable plates, including features like a built-in E-ink display and a fully transparent shell.

You could argue that Jsaux is getting ahead of itself since we still don’t have a confirmed release date or price for the Steam Machine. However, this eagerness is what helped the brand dominate the Steam Deck docking scene, so it makes sense they want to stay ahead of the game.

I have a feeling Jsaux is already brainstorming some wild ideas for the Steam Machine, but they’re keeping those plans under wraps for now. I’d like to think they’re also considering the new Steam Controller and looking into replacement shells that would complement the proposed translucent case, which would really complete that retro vibe.

The fact that they’re exploring E-ink display concepts gives me hope for an attachable screen reminiscent of the GameCube and PS2 TFT panels from back in the day. I can totally picture a portable monitor that clips onto the top of the cube, which should be feasible if they stick to USB-C Power Delivery standards. Honestly, if no one else makes something like that, I might just take it upon myself to create one.

But I’m getting ahead of myself here. For now, the only tangible Jsaux Steam Machine accessory is those stickers showcased at CES. Everything will be unveiled and launched in 2026, and let’s be real, we really need to find out if the Valve cube will be priced reasonably.
