Arc Raiders: Quest Guide for “A Warm Place to Rest”

Arc Raiders takes you on a series of missions to uncover signs of survivors, including the quest A Warm Place to Rest. In this mission, your goal is to find evidence of raiders who may have survived in the area near the Abandoned Highway Camp in Buried City. Here’s a complete rundown on how to tackle this quest.

You won’t need to extract to finish A Warm Place to Rest, but be prepared to traverse the entire Buried City map to meet your objectives. Given this, opting for a free loadout might not be the best idea, as you’re likely to run into raiders or ARC forces, which means you’ll want to stock up on healing items. While it’s ultimately your call, we suggest bringing along a solid weapon or two and enough healing supplies to keep you in the fight.

When you’re set to complete A Warm Place to Rest, start by locating the Abandoned Highway Camp. This camp is situated on the Buried City map, just southeast of the Grandioso Apartments. Make your way onto the highway and look for a cluster of buses.

Upon reaching the Abandoned Highway Camp, you’ll need to search for signs of survivors. Approach one of the buses to find a pack lying on the ground next to it. Interact with this pack to trigger an objective that directs you to follow red markers.

These red markers in the sand will guide you across the map to the quest’s final objective. However, if you already know where to go, following them isn’t strictly necessary. To save time, you can check below for the location of the grave, which is on the far eastern side of the map, buried in rubble.

Once you arrive at the grave site in the Buried Properties, you’ll receive the objective to inspect the nearby grave. Amidst the debris of a building, you’ll find the grave you need to examine. Interact with it to complete the quest.

After inspecting the grave, you can head back to Speranza whenever you’re ready. If you have other Arc Raiders quests to tackle in Buried City, now’s a great time to take care of those as well.
