Arc Raiders: A Guide to the Communication Hideout Quest

Arc Raiders’ Buried City map features some of the game’s most engaging quests, including Communication Hideout. This quest takes you to the Red Tower, where you’ll complete several tasks to power up an antenna. If you’re gearing up to tackle this quest, we’ve laid out every step for you. You won’t need to extract to finish this quest, so feel free to come in with a light loadout if you want to play it safe. After all, losing valuable gear during a quest can be frustrating. However, there’s some decent loot near the Red Tower POI, particularly around the Santa Maria houses, so you might want to explore the area a bit more if you’re looking to stock up. When you’re ready to dive into Communication Hideout, follow these steps.

**Reach the Red Tower in Old Town**
The Red Tower is situated in the southern part of Buried City. It’s generally a safe zone, but keep an eye out for raiders who might be checking for a Security Breach in a room beneath the tower.

**Find the missing battery cell**
Once you arrive, your first task is to locate a missing battery cell. You can find it on the ground outside, on the east side of the Red Tower, next to a small structure. Interact with this box to retrieve the battery cell.

**Install the battery cell in the generator**
Turn around 180 degrees from the box to spot a yellow generator box just a few steps away. Place the battery cell in the glowing blue slot of the generator.

**Enable the power on the generator**
To power it up, simply interact with the prompt on the side of the generator.

**Boot the antenna terminal near the Red Tower**
Your final task is to head up near the Red Tower and activate the antenna terminal. Enter the nearby window close to the generator and head up the stairs inside.

At the top of the stairs, turn right and exit through the destroyed wall. You’ll see a yellow ladder in front of you; climb it to reach the landing beneath the Red Tower. Once you’re up there, wrap around to find the terminal. Interact with it to complete the quest.

With everything wrapped up, you can now loot more or extract whenever you like. Great job, raider!
