The Division 3 Is Set to Be a Game-Changer, According to the Series Executive Producer

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are clearly excited about the progress of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. Julian Gerighty, the executive producer overseeing the franchise, described the game as “shaping up to be a monster.” In a recent interview at the New Game+ Showcase, he shared some insights about this highly anticipated installment in the online action-RPG series. “The Division 3 is in production, right? This is not a secret; it’s been announced,” Gerighty stated. “It’s shaping up to be a monster.” Earlier this year, Ubisoft confirmed that The Division 3 was in development, making Gerighty’s comments all the more relevant. He emphasized the hard work being put in at Massive, suggesting that the upcoming title could have a significant impact, similar to the original Division. Recently, Massive Entertainment also addressed rumors regarding Gerighty’s departure from Ubisoft, clarifying that he is actively involved in The Division 3, as well as contributing to The Division 2: Survivors and The Division: Resurgence for mobile devices. This year also marks the 10th anniversary of The Division franchise. Currently, there is no set release window for The Division 3. The New Game+ Showcase featured other major titles as well, including the announcement that Avowed will be launching on PS5 on February 17.
