Helldivers 2 Embraces Stealth with Upcoming Redacted Regiment Warbond: “Enemies of Democracy Won’t See You Coming”

The latest Warbond for Helldivers 2 has been unveiled, with the Redacted Regiment set to drop next week on January 20, 2026.

As Helldivers 2 approaches its second anniversary next month, Arrowhead continues to deliver regular updates. The community is buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming chaos hinted at by the studio’s CEO, who ominously stated, “a lot of Helldivers will die.”

Conspiracy theories among Super Earth enthusiasts are swirling, suggesting that the new content may relate to the mysterious Illuminate structures appearing in Super Earth media. Given the history of infiltration on Super Earth, it’s likely that the latest Warbond is showcasing some of these developments.

The Redacted Regiment Warbond will introduce a range of stealthy gear designed for covert operations. Leading the charge is the R-72 Censor precision rifle, which remains undetectable to enemies thanks to its built-in suppressor. For those who prefer a quicker firing option while still maintaining stealth, the AR-59 Suppressor assault rifle is also available.

Additionally, players can look forward to the P-35 Re-Educator, a secondary weapon that fires darts filled with a chemical agent that induces delirium in organic targets and similar malfunctions in inorganic ones. This update also includes a new C4 Pack stratagem and a TM-01 Lure Mine, perfect for luring enemies into traps for a stealthy takedown.

Cosmetic additions feature two sleek dark suits that embody stealth, with a tagline from Super Earth’s transmission stating, “The enemies of Democracy will have to get real close before they can spot you.” Just remember, your stealth tactics can be compromised if your teammates accidentally blow you up.

The CCO of Helldivers 2 has expressed a preference for introducing “sequel-level features,” such as 8-player missions and larger open-world maps, rather than jumping straight to Helldivers 3.
