Razer Unveils Neon Genesis Evangelion-Inspired EVA Unit-02 Collection
Razer has officially unveiled its new line of PC gaming gear and accessories inspired by the iconic anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Drawing design elements from the striking red armor of EVA Unit 02, piloted by Asuka Langley, this collection includes a Razer mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, headset, and a stylish gaming chair that feels like it stepped right out of the Evangelion universe. While pricing and a specific release date are still under wraps, updates will be provided once Razer shares more details.
For those looking to dive back into the Evangelion saga, the entire animated series and the Rebuild of Evangelion films are available on Blu-ray. The original series remains a beloved ’90s classic, featuring impressive giant robot designs, intense battles, and deep existential themes, all for $42. This set includes all 26 episodes with both English audio and the original Japanese audio with subtitles, along with hours of bonus content and two films. The first film, Death (True), serves as a recap of the series, while The End of Evangelion reinterprets the final two episodes.
Fans should also check out the four Rebuild of Evangelion movies, released between 2007 and 2021. This project started as a near shot-for-shot remake of the early episodes but evolved to introduce significant changes to the storyline, along with new characters and plotlines. Shout Factory has made all of these films available, both in standard and limited-edition Blu-ray formats.
