Guide to Finding All Poems in Quarantine Zone for “Ask Your Mom” Quest

The Ask Your Mom quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check shows that zombies aren’t the only challenge you’ll face. This bulletin board quest tasks you with tracking down six poems that have been spray-painted around the camp, along with confronting the human behind them.

When you interact with a piece of graffiti, your flashlight will reveal footprints leading you to the next poem. However, the gaps between the footprints can make it tricky to stay on track. If you find yourself struggling to follow the trail or feeling a bit lost, here’s a guide to all the poem locations in the Ask Your Mom quest.

The first poem is located on a wall in the command center, directly across from the door of the shipping container where you rest. Be sure to interact with it; otherwise, the next piece of graffiti won’t show up.

Head into the garage and take a left when you see the crosswalk markings on the ground. Continue straight ahead, and in the left corner of this area, next to two portapotties, you’ll find the second poem on the wall.

After you pass through the gate of the laboratory area, turn right and stick close to the fence. The third poem is painted on a white storage unit in this vicinity.

To locate the fourth poem, return to the command center. This time, head to the back of your shipping container bedroom, where you’ll spot it graffitied.

The footprints for this poem can be misleading, leading you on a bit of a wild goose chase. To save time, head directly to the liquidation area, where a watchtower displays the fifth poem on its wall.

Finally, the sixth poem can be found beneath the painted sign directing you to the laboratory.

Once you’ve collected all the poems, chat with Abe Crow, the disgruntled subject of the graffiti. He’ll inquire about how the vandal managed to get their hands on the paint. To find out more, investigate the storage area in the garage.

One of the scientists there will mention that the stolen paint is nearly impossible to wash off, so it should be visible on the culprit’s clothing. Shine your flashlight on the guilty survivor, and you’ll notice they’re covered in red stains.

At this point, you can either accept the graffiti artist’s bribe or report your findings to the scientist. The long-term consequences of this choice aren’t significant, so it’s up to you whether you want a little extra cash or the satisfaction of doing the right thing.
