When Will Kicks Arrive on Your Island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Kicks is a unique character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, known for being the sole vendor of backpacks. He also offers a variety of socks and shoes. While he won’t set up a permanent shop on your island, you can find him at a temporary stall in your town plaza once a week after meeting specific requirements.

To unlock Kicks, you first need to establish the Able Sisters clothing shop. This involves spending some bells at Mabel’s stall during her visits. After a few purchases and conversations, Mabel will ask you to choose a location for her permanent shop. Once you’ve picked a spot and construction begins, return in 48 hours to see the new clothing store open!

Once the Able Sisters shop is operational, Kicks will appear as a temporary vendor, much like Mabel. He visits your island once a week on a random day, from 5 AM to 10 PM, and you can find him near your residential services building in the town square.

Kicks offers a selection of shoes, socks, and bags, including backpacks, purses, and messenger bags. While the Able Sisters have a broader range of socks and shoes, Kicks may carry unique items, making it worthwhile to check his inventory when he arrives. Keep in mind that the bags he sells are purely for style and do not increase your inventory space.
