Helldivers 2’s Redacted Regiment Warbond Launches This Week After Brief Delay

Arrowhead Game Studios has revealed that the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond now has a fresh release date, scheduled for this Thursday, January 22.

Just days after the announcement of the stealth-centric Redacted Regiment Warbond, Arrowhead had to push back its launch due to a “key issue,” which likely hints at some pesky bugs or rogue robots causing trouble behind the scenes. However, thanks to the hard work of Super Earth’s government and the dedicated developers of Helldivers 2, the Redacted Regiment Warbond is back on track.

Greetings, Helldivers! We’ve resolved the issue with Redacted Regiment, and it will soon be ready for release! Expect a patch on Thursday, January 22, at 11 AM CET (11:00), with the Redacted Regiment going live at 2 PM CET (14:00) on the same day.

On what was originally the Redacted Regiment Warbond’s planned release date, Arrowhead took to social media to share, “We were able to resolve the issue with Redacted Regiment and it will soon be available for release!” The studio confirmed that Helldivers 2 will receive a patch on Thursday, January 22, at 11 AM CET (2 AM PT / 5 AM ET / 10 AM GMT), followed by the Warbond’s launch three hours later at 2 PM CET (5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 1 PM GMT).

When the Warbond drops this Thursday, it will be available for the standard price of 1,000 Helldivers 2 Super Credits. Depending on how effectively the stealth-oriented weapons are integrated, it could quickly climb the Helldivers 2 Warbond tier list.

Players will gain access to two new primary weapons, both equipped with suppressors, along with a secondary dart gun that inflicts damage over time on enemies. For the ultimate stealth experience, a new C4 Pack stratagem will allow you to create explosive chaos… without making a sound.
