Marathon Unveils an Impressive Lineup of Voice Talent
As we gear up for its launch on March 5, Bungie has unveiled an impressive voice cast for Marathon, featuring a lineup that’s sure to excite gamers. The cast includes familiar voices from recent hits like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscur, alongside notable figures from the sci-fi TV realm. In a recent blog post, Bungie shared the names of 33 talented actors who will bring the characters of Marathon to life, many of whom are well-known to fans of both gaming and science fiction.
Among the cast are some beloved companions from Baldur’s Gate 3, including Jennifer English (Shadowheart), Neil Newbon (Astarion), Samantha Béart (Karlach), and Tracy Wiles (Jaheira). The RPG scene is also represented by Ben Starr and Rich Keeble, who voiced Verso and Monoco in Clair Obscur.
Sci-fi enthusiasts will recognize Nika Futterman, known for voicing Asajj Ventress in the Clone Wars animated series, and Elias Toufexis, the voice of Adam Jensen from the Deus Ex series, who has also appeared in The Expanse and Star Trek: Discovery. Other notable talents include Roger Clark, who portrayed Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, Morla Gorrondona as Eris Morn in Destiny 2, and Erin Yvette, who has lent her voice to titles like Dispatch, The Wolf Among Us, and Hades 2.

It’s not common for a game to disclose its entire voice cast before launch, but with such a star-studded lineup, it’s a smart move for Bungie. The latest trailer for Marathon introduces players to Gantry, an agent of the MIDA faction, and hints at the six factions players will encounter, each with unique characters and mysteries to explore.
Marathon is set to compete directly with the popular extraction shooter Arc Raiders, and its standout voice cast could be a key differentiator for Bungie’s new entry in the genre. While Arc Raiders has garnered positive feedback, some fans have expressed concerns over its use of AI-generated voiceovers. Marathon will be available on March 5 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, priced at $40, matching Arc Raiders. Preorders for Marathon are currently open.
