Game Pass Kicks Off the New Year Strong with Two More Incredible Titles
Xbox Game Pass has kicked off 2026 with an impressive lineup, featuring major titles like Star Wars Outlaws and Resident Evil Village among a total of ten new games. The latter half of January looks just as promising, with the addition of Death Stranding Director’s Cut and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II on the horizon.
While Game Pass has faced its share of challenges in recent years, including tier changes and price increases, it still offers good value for those who can manage the subscription. This January, players can enjoy a solid mix of games, with seven new titles joining the ten already added, plus two more arriving at the start of February.
Tomorrow, January 21, Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be available, along with the PC-exclusive road repair sim RoadCraft and last year’s impressive 2D platformer, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound. Just a few days later, The Talos Principle 2 will make its debut, followed by the somewhat average ANNO: Mutationem and the delightful indie city builder and Tetris mashup, Drop Duchy. We’ll also see the mysterious MySims: Cozy Bundle before the month wraps up with the highly anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II.
Additionally, a couple of February titles have been included in this lineup: Indika, an intriguing exploration of religious trauma set for 2024, and a revamped 2D pixel version of Final Fantasy II.
