Peak to Introduce Final Biome This Year Alongside Key Updates, Developer Hints at New Project in the Works

Aggro Crab has shared a video outlining its plans for 2026 regarding Peak, including one last biome set to launch this year, along with a teaser for a new game.

In the video, a representative from Aggro Crab, dressed as a Peak character, mentions that “major Peak updates will be less frequent in 2026.” However, the studio is still working on “a couple of updates that address some commonly requested features,” though the specifics remain under wraps for now.

Following these updates, the team plans to “start working on the final biome for Peak.” While details about this new area are scarce, it will reportedly alternate with Caldera during gameplay, and the team expresses excitement about their vision for it. They caution, however, that “these updates won’t come super fast this year.”

The video also confirmed that the studio’s upcoming multiplayer game, Crashout Crew, which features forklift mechanics, is on track for release this year. They stated, “We’re almost finished with this game, so stay tuned for news about its launch.” The team emphasized that Peak has given them the freedom to explore their creative ideas, so they won’t rush Crashout Crew’s release until everything is just right, which is why a release date hasn’t been set yet.

Additionally, Aggro Crab hinted at “secret projects” in development, showcasing a blurry screenshot that features a blue background with what appears to be rocks and greenery. While it could hint at an expansion or sequel to Another Crab’s Treasure, the details remain too vague to confirm. The video wraps up with the promise that “it’s only January, and we already have a bunch of stuff planned for this year that I’m still keeping under wraps,” suggesting more surprises may be on the horizon.

The lead for Peak aims to maintain the game’s “jam-like spirit” in future updates.
