Esports World Cup 2026 Announces $75 Million Prize Pool, Full Game Lineup and Global Schedule
The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially lifted the curtain on the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC), confirming a massive $75 million prize pool, a complete list of competitive titles, and a seven-week global schedule. Set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 6 to August 23, 2026, the event is once again positioning itself as the biggest and most ambitious tournament on the global esports calendar.
A Record-Breaking Prize Pool and Club Championship Focus
The $75 million prize pool reinforces EWC’s reputation as a life-changing event for players and esports organizations alike. More than 2,000 elite players representing 200 Clubs from over 100 countries will compete across 25 tournaments covering 24 games.
A major highlight remains the EWC Club Championship, the tournament’s defining cross-title competition. In 2026, the Club Championship will distribute $30 million among the top 24 Clubs—an increase of $3 million compared to the previous year. The overall champion will take home $7 million, with expanded payouts across the remaining top positions. Unlike single-title events, the Club Championship rewards consistency and excellence across multiple games, crowning the best all-round esports organization in the world.
Beyond the Club Championship, Individual Game Championships will account for over $39 million in combined prize money. Additional rewards include tournament MVP awards and the Jafonso Award, given to players or Clubs that win a title after qualifying through a Last Chance Qualifier. Prize allocations will also extend to publisher-led qualifying events held worldwide ahead of the main event in Riyadh.
