Future Games Show Set to Make a Comeback in 2026 with Six Exciting New Events

The Future Games Show is gearing up for an exciting return, with six showcases planned across three major events in 2026, kicking off in just under two months.

The first event, the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026. This showcase will be part of the Game Development Conference’s Festival of Gaming, featuring world premieres, exclusive trailers, and even some surprise demo drops. Following the main event, FGS Live From will launch, hosted by the FGS editorial team, providing additional trailers, in-depth looks at the showcased games, and fresh updates straight from GDC.

While the March showcase is just around the corner, there’s a lot more in store for the rest of 2026. The Future Games Show Summer Showcase will return in June, aligning with SGF and leading into FGS Live from Los Angeles. Later in the summer, the Future Games Show will make its way to Gamescom in Cologne, followed by its own Live From event.

In 2025, the shows achieved a record-breaking 47 million live and opening weekend views, surpassing the milestone of 1,000 featured games. Notable titles for 2026 include Resident Evil: Requiem, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, and Phantom Blade Zero.
