Lego is set to honor Luigi with an exciting new Mario Kart set.

For too long, the iconic Italian plumber and gaming legend Mario Mario has been the star of the show, leaving his brother Luigi in the shadows, despite Luigi being the top ghost hunter in the game world. But it seems Luigi is finally ready to step into the limelight, and we have Lego to thank for it.

Nintendo recently teased an upcoming Lego set themed around Mario Kart, and while Mario takes center stage, Luigi is making his presence known. After all, he’s a Super Mario Brother too, and it’s about time he gets some recognition. If Lego plays its cards right, they might even give Luigi the chance to unleash his notorious death stare.

So far, details about the set are scarce, but we know it will feature both Mario and Luigi along with their karts. Interestingly, this set is aimed at adults rather than kids, which could imply that Luigi has some mischievous plans for his brother. Alternatively, like other sets in Lego’s Adults Welcome line, it might be designed more for display than for play.

That said, the teaser from Nintendo has definitely piqued our interest in racing Lego karts around the house. Just imagine if Lego Smart Play evolves enough to turn these karts into remote-controlled vehicles!

As of now, there’s no information on the release date or specific details about this collaboration. However, Lego has exciting new sets on the horizon, including themes from Star Wars, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and more.
