Forza Horizon 6 Introduces a New Estate Inspired by Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Where Players Can Create Freely While Funding Their Lifestyle Through Unique Tasks Like Tofu Delivery

The Forza series, known for its high-speed thrills, is about to add a new layer of responsibility with the upcoming Forza Horizon 6. Set to launch on May 19, as revealed during the January 22 Xbox Developer Direct, this installment will transport players to Japan, featuring expansive rural areas called Estates that you can customize to your heart’s content—provided you have the in-game currency to back it up.

According to an announcement, “The Estate is a flat area of land where you can build anything you want – a mountain hideaway, a personalized track for friends – the only real constraint is that the items will cost in-game currency.”

While you have the freedom to “build pretty much whatever you’d like” on your estate, it’s noted that “When you build something, you pay a few credits to put it down – credits you earn in other activities across the game world – and you get the credits back if you delete something.”

You can rack up credits through classic Forza activities, like winning races in your favorite sportscar, or simply by taking in the sights of Japan, including its stunning cherry blossoms. Alternatively, you could embrace a more grounded experience by delivering tofu. The choice is yours.

Design Director Torben Ellert emphasizes the importance of this system, stating, “It creates this sense of connection for us that you’ve worked to get these credits by taking part in something.” The announcement reinforces that your slice of Japan is not just built by you, but earned through your efforts.

Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition is priced at $120, making it even pricier than its predecessor, and it still doesn’t include all downloadable content.
