Exciting New Dragon Ball Super Anime Series Revealed

Get ready to power up and stretch those muscles because a major announcement has just dropped about a brand new Dragon Ball Super anime on the horizon. This exciting news was unveiled at the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri event in Japan, where voice actor Masako Nozawa and producer Akio Iyoku made a special appearance.

Titled Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, this new series will take place after the Universe Survival Arc of Dragon Ball Super. It will adapt the manga’s Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc, featuring our beloved heroes, Goku and Vegeta, as they join forces once again to confront a formidable energy-absorbing wizard named Planet-Eater Moro. The action kicks off after a prison break, sending our heroes into space to defend the next target on Moro’s list — New Namek.

While production is already in motion, a release date for The Galactic Patrol has yet to be announced. Fans are eagerly awaiting this new installment, especially since the last we saw of Dragon Ball Super was back in 2018. In the meantime, we’ve been entertained by Dragon Ball Daima, another series set between Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super.

So far, the only teaser we’ve seen features Goku and Vegeta striking a classic hero pose, but we can expect their iconic hair colors to start shifting soon.

Make sure you’re caught up on all the essential lore to fully enjoy the new series!
