U.S. Esports Federation Partners with Northstar Meetings

The United States Esports Federation (USEF.GG) has teamed up with Northstar Meetings Group in a multi-year partnership announced on Wednesday.

While the financial details of this agreement remain under wraps, USEF highlighted that this collaboration will enable them to expand their leadership team and enhance their presence at key events like the EsportsTravel Summit and the TEAMS Conference & Expo. This new agreement builds on two prior partnerships aimed at promoting USEF.GG’s mission to recruit and develop top-tier esports athletes for international competitions while uniting various stakeholders within the U.S. esports scene.

Gerald Solomon, executive director of USEF.GG’s parent organization, expressed gratitude for Northstar’s support, stating, “As USEF.GG continues to serve as the exclusive representative of United States esports athletes in international competitions through organizations like IESF, GEF, and AESF, we recognize and appreciate what Northstar has provided to support these efforts.”

Todd Harris, chairman of the board of USEF.GG, added, “Northstar serves as both a home base for our governance work and a platform to enhance the development and sustainability of USEF.GG and esports in the United States. We look forward to this collaboration and how we can mutually support each other in the exciting and evolving field of esports.”

USEF.GG also announced that it will hold board meetings at each Northstar event, starting with the 2026 Esports Travel Summit from June 23–25. Board members will engage in conferences and one-on-one meetings with esports organizations, destinations, and industry suppliers.

USEF.GG claims recognition as the national governing body of esports in the U.S. by several federations, including the International Esports Federation, the Global Esports Federation, and the Asian Electronic Sports Federation. However, it’s important to note that many stakeholders, including IP owners, publishers, and developers, may not agree with the notion that the U.S. has an officially recognized governing body for esports.
