No Nothing Phone 4 Launch Planned for This Year
Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, recently confirmed that the Phone 4 won’t be making its debut in 2026 during a video on the brand’s YouTube channel. When asked about future phone plans, Pei stated, “There’s no new flagship this year,” reiterating that last year’s Phone 3 will continue to serve as the flagship model.
Pei emphasized the company’s philosophy, saying, “We’re not just going to churn out a new flagship every year for the sake of it; we want every upgrade to feel significant.” He noted that just because other companies follow a certain trend, it doesn’t mean Nothing will do the same.
However, Nothing is still in the game with the upcoming midrange Phone 4A series. Pei mentioned that the 4A will represent a significant evolution over its predecessor in all aspects, including display, camera, and overall performance. He hinted that it would offer a more flagship-like experience compared to the 3A series, while also promising premium materials and “bold new experimentation in terms of color.”
