Discovering Trapper Locations in Red Dead Redemption 2
The Trapper locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 are essential stops for players looking to cash in on the pelts and animal parts they’ve collected during their hunting adventures.
At these locations, you can trade your pelts and other animal items with the local trapper, who can craft them into stylish outfits and hats for Arthur. Additionally, selling any skins you gather is a solid way to boost your in-game funds if you’re in need of some extra cash.
While Trappers are few and far between, we’ve got you covered with a guide to all the Trapper locations in the game.
The easiest Trapper to locate is in Saint Denis, one of the main cities in Red Dead Redemption 2. Head to the market on the east side and enter through the gates. The Trapper will be the first merchant on your left, looking a bit scruffy among the other vendors.
North of Saint Denis, directly west of the Elysian Pool, you’ll find another Trapper nestled in the woods between the V and E of New Hanover, just north of the lettering on the in-game map. Visit him to sell as much game as you like.
If you venture west from Bard’s Crossing, you’ll discover this Trapper slightly east of Riggs Station, perched on a small hill. Just scale the hill from a safe path, and you’ll find the Trapper’s den waiting for you. Go ahead and sell those carcasses, cowboy.
For a more remote Trapper, fast travel to Strawberry and head northwest. Follow the road past Lake Owanjila, and you’ll find the Trapper hidden in the woods near the edge of the map.
Lastly, southwest of Manzanita Post, look just west of the ‘S’ in Tall Trees to find another Trapper. He’s situated by the Lower Montana River on the right side of the road, tucked away in a small woodland area, ready to offer his goods to Arthur.
