Scream 7 Reveals Nostalgic Popcorn Bucket Ahead of Horror Sequel Release
Ghostface is stepping into the world of movie-themed popcorn buckets, and it’s a chillingly fun addition for fans. With Scream 7 set to hit theaters this year, a new popcorn bucket shaped like the infamous killer is on the way from Cinemark. A sneak peek shows the bucket complete with a trickle of blood running down its iconic face. Fortunately, the popcorn is safely stored in a compartment at the back, so there’s no chance of mixing snacks with the horror theme. This unique item is slated for release on Valentine’s Day—because what better way to celebrate love than with a killer’s likeness you can snack from?
As the marketing gears up for the seventh installment of this beloved slasher series, fans can expect a fresh wave of excitement. This chapter brings the focus back to Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, who is once again trying to lead a normal life, free from the terror of Ghostface. However, she’s not the only target; her daughter Tatum, played by Isabel May, is also in the killer’s sights. Courteney Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers, adding to the returning cast.
Returning to the fray are Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding, who portray twin siblings Chad and Mandy Meeks-Martin. They’ll be the only young core cast members from the previous film, as Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega have exited the project. New faces joining the cast, who may face grim fates, include Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
Scream 7 will also bring back some iconic characters, even those who met their end in earlier films. David Arquette is set to return as Dewey, despite his demise in the last installment, while Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley will reprise their roles as Stu Macher and Roman Bridger, the killers from Scream and Scream 3, respectively. Fans will be eager to discover who’s behind the mask this time when Scream 7 slashes its way onto screens on February 27.
