Best Buy Launches Exciting Sale on Square Enix Games, Leaving Me with No Free Time!
As we dive into February 2026, I’m on the hunt for the perfect game to immerse myself in on the Switch 2, PS5, or Xbox Series X. Thankfully, a recent price drop at a major retailer has made that choice a bit easier, with discounts of up to $25 on select titles from a well-known developer. Now, all I need is to carve out some time to play.
The sale features more than just the usual Final Fantasy games (though they’re definitely included). You can snag the Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake for $49.99 on the Switch 2, or the original Switch if you prefer physical copies. PS5 gamers can also get in on the action with Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, now available for $39.99, marking its lowest price yet.
With multiple games across various platforms seeing price cuts, I’ve rounded up the best deals below. No matter what system you prefer, there are plenty of Square Enix titles to dive into and enjoy during your free time.
**Octopath Traveler 0 (Switch 2)** | $49.99 $39.99
Save $10 – This $10 discount on Octopath Traveler 0 for the Switch 2 brings it back to its lowest price on the new Nintendo handheld. Just make sure you have 5GB of space available before you grab this deal.
**Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake (Switch 2)** | $59.99 $49.99
Save $10 – While this $49.99 price for the classic Dragon Quest games isn’t a record low, it’s still a solid deal. Just remember to play the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake first, as intended by the creator.
**Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven (Switch)** | $29.99 $29.99
Save $10 – If you’re in the mood for remakes, Romancing SaGa 2 is available for $10 off on the original Switch. This deal is just a few dollars shy of its lowest price and offers a fully realized 3D version of the classic SNES title, which is also playable on the Switch 2.
**Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles (PS5)** | $49.99 $39.99
Save $10 – You can’t have a Square Enix sale without some Final Fantasy titles. Today, Final Fantasy Tactics is $10 off, returning to its lowest price since last year’s holiday sales.
**Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake (PS5)** | $59.99 $34.99
Save $25 – If you want to experience the original Dragon Quest games as they were meant to be played, Dragon Quest 3 is now $25 off. The PS5 version is just a few dollars shy of its lowest price since launch.
**Final Fantasy 16 (PS5)** | $29.99 $20.99
Save $9 – Final Fantasy 16 frequently sees discounts, so it’s no surprise to find it included in this sale. It’s currently $9 off its usual price, not the lowest I’ve seen, but still a good deal.
**Final Fantasy I-VI COLLECTION Anniversary Edition (PS4)** | $74.99 $62.99
Save $12 – For fans of the classics, the I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition is down to $62.99. While it’s not the cheapest it’s ever been, you’re getting six iconic games, making it a great value.
**Visions of Mana (Xbox)** | $39.99 $29.99
Save $10 – Fans of the Mana series can grab the latest installment for $10 off on Xbox. While it’s not at its lowest price, any deal under $30 is worth considering.
**Life is Strange Double Exposure (Xbox)** | $29.99 $23.99
Save $6 – This is my favorite deal, especially with the new game in the series on the horizon. If you want to catch up before Life is Strange Reunion, you can pick up Double Exposure for just $23.99.
For those looking to enhance their gaming experience, exploring the best gaming headsets can elevate the audio quality of any Square Enix title.
