Nekome: Nazi Hunter Promises a Thrilling Nazi-Slaying Adventure for Wolfenstein and Tarantino Fans

If you’re on the hunt for a thrilling, Nazi-slaying escapade, keep an eye on Nekome: Nazi Hunter. Recently announced, this game puts you in the shoes of a young Romani man seeking vengeance across the chaotic landscapes of World War II Europe.

Nekome: Nazi Hunter is described as a single-player, third-person action-combat experience that fuses stealth with intense, close-quarters combat, where every strike feels personal and every kill carries weight. The reveal trailer leans heavily into the stylized violence, showcasing plenty of blood and gore, while the stealth elements take a backseat. It promises to deliver a satisfying dose of Nazi exploitation, reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and the Wolfenstein series. After all, the narrative of taking down Nazis never gets old.

Players will follow Vano Nastasu, a character driven by the tragic loss of his family at the hands of Nazi soldiers. The game charts Vano’s journey from being the prey to becoming the predator, embarking on a brutal quest for revenge—fittingly, “Nekome” translates to revenge in Yiddish.

While a release date and specific platforms for Nekome: Nazi Hunter have yet to be revealed, more information is expected to drop at GDC 2026 in March. It’s worth noting that the game is rated M for Mature.

Founded in 2016 by Harold Ryan, the former CEO of Bungie, the studio behind Nekome: Nazi Hunter is home to several internal teams, including Hidden Grove, led by ex-Bungie creative director Chris Opdahl. The studio previously housed Firewalk Studios, the team behind Concord, before their acquisition by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2023. So far, the studio has launched two titles: the first-person horror game Ire: A Prologue and the roguelite 2D action-platformer Storm Lancers.
