Lego has just teased an exciting KPop Demon Hunters set for 2026, specifically featuring a Derpy kit.
The teaser, a brief trailer, showcases Derpy the supernatural tiger knocking over a plant pot, mirroring the character’s clumsy antics in the film. While the model isn’t fully revealed, it appears to be minifigure scale based on its size relative to the plant pot. There’s speculation about whether it will include a Rumi or Jinu minifigure, but it’s likely they’ll make an appearance eventually. The announcement hints at more Lego KPop Demon Hunters sets on the way, stating, “this is just the beginning.”
Based on the pieces used for Derpy, it looks like this will be part of a playset rather than a larger display piece typical of the best Lego sets. The flower pot in the footage features small pieces, with the flowers being classic single studs. Although Derpy’s leg is at least twice the height of the pot, the full model will likely be just a few inches tall.
It’s no surprise to see the movie transition into brick form. KPop Demon Hunters was a massive success last year, making the real question about the timing of the sets rather than their existence. The big question now is how extensive the lineup will be. Will we see just a couple of sets featuring the main characters, or will it expand like the One Piece series, offering a variety of playsets and display pieces inspired by key moments? The latter was far more ambitious than anticipated, so a similar approach here isn’t out of the question.
