With the handheld out for over seven months, there’s a fantastic selection of Nintendo Switch 2 accessories available, but few capture the spirit of Valentine’s Day quite like Hori’s Eevee Cottage Core Puff Pouch.
This official Switch 2 pouch is adorned with hearts and charming Eevee illustrations. Currently priced at just $29.99 on Amazon, it’s a $7 discount off its MSRP. While it’s not at an all-time low, it’s still a solid deal if you’re looking for a thoughtful gift without splurging on jewelry or a fancy dinner. If your partner is a Pokémon fan, this accessory is definitely worth considering.
HORI Puff Pouch (Eevee Cottage Core) for Nintendo Switch 2 | $36.99 $29.99 at Amazon Save $7 – Stock of the entire Switch 2 Eevee Cottage Core line is dwindling at retailers in the US and UK, so it’s wise to grab this while you can. With Amazon’s quick shipping, it should arrive in time for wrapping before February 14.
Buy it if:
✅ They own a Switch 2
✅ Your Valentine adores Eevee and Pokémon
Don’t buy it if:
❌ Your Valentine prefers Pikachu
❌ They already have a Switch 2 case
UK: £38.18 at Amazon
Before picking up this Switch 2 case or any accessories, ensure your Valentine has a Nintendo Switch 2. While the older Switch can fit in the case (I’ve tested it with a Switch OLED), it’s a bit loose around the edges and is better suited for the newer console.
It’s also a plus if they’re a fan of Pokémon, especially Eevee. If both criteria are met, this makes for a delightful Valentine’s gift. The entire Eevee Cottage Core line is designed with cuteness in mind, and the artwork on this pouch is among the most adorable I’ve seen on an official Pokémon product, especially for someone who’s been collecting since the 90s.
The little hearts and sleeping Eevee illustrations are enough to charm anyone, even a grown adult like me. The soft white and light blue color scheme enhances the cuteness factor. It’s so delicate that I can easily picture my grandmother using something like this back in the day.
Like most of Hori’s Switch 2 accessories, it’s not just cute but also practical. The pouch has space for your Switch 2, six physical games, and a roomy compartment that can even fit the matching Eevee Cottage Core Game Storage Case, which is $12.99 at Amazon.
I haven’t taken my version of this case out yet, so I can’t speak to its protective qualities. It doesn’t have a hard shell, so it won’t withstand heavy impacts. If that’s what your loved one needs, they might be better off with the Hori Gengar and Mimikyu case. Otherwise, this Eevee pouch is a fantastic gift for fans of all things cute and Pokémon.
