Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and Clea DuVall are joining the cast of The Last of Us season 3.

Reports indicate that Jorge Lendeborg Jr. will take over the role of WLF member Manny, previously played by Danny Ramirez, while Clea DuVall will portray a Seraphite.

The acclaimed series, inspired by the hugely popular video games, was renewed for a third season even before the premiere of season 2 last year. The first season follows the storyline of The Last of Us Part 1, while seasons 2 and 3 will adapt The Last of Us Part 2, shifting the focus from Joel (Pedro Pascal) to Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and the new antagonist Abby (Kaitlyn Dever).

Ramirez left the show last year after just one season due to scheduling conflicts. The actor, who is also stepping into filmmaking, recently completed filming for Avengers: Doomsday and the Jean-Michel Basquiat biopic, Samo Lives. He is also preparing to direct his debut film, Baton, and will star alongside Pascal in the upcoming Todd Haynes romance, De Noche.

In addition to Ramirez, showrunner and video game creator Neil Druckmann announced his unexpected departure last year. Craig Mazin will now take the reins as showrunner, with the upcoming season focusing on Abby’s perspective, as seen in the latter half of The Last of Us Part 2.

Lendeborg Jr. is recognized for his role as Jason Inello in the Spider-Man films featuring Tom Holland and has recently completed work on the upcoming horror film, Halloween Store. DuVall is a celebrated figure in pop culture, known for her roles in the queer coming-of-age comedy, But I’m a Cheerleader, and the cult classic sci-fi horror, The Faculty.

The Last of Us season 3 is expected to premiere sometime in 2027.
