Exciting New Overwatch Cosmetics and Mythics Set for Release in 2026

Overwatch is a blast, but one of the biggest draws is customizing your favorite heroes and Talon villains. Blizzard knows this, and in 2026, they’re rolling out a ton of stylish and quirky new options to deck out your mains with awesome costumes and weapon skins.

This year, players can look forward to a variety of new Legendary skins available for purchase in the Overwatch shop, alongside battle pass skins, fresh Mythic skins, and earnable skins in Stadium and Competitive modes. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store for Overwatch’s skin lineup.

In a move that might ruffle some feathers but thrill Mercy fans, the new hero receiving a deluxe Mythic skin is none other than Mercy herself. The beloved Support character is getting her second Mythic skin, Celestial Guardian, transforming Angela Ziegler into a celestial being.

Also on the Mythic skin roster is a new weapon skin for Juno, reimagining her Mediblaster as a spaceship piloted by a quirky little character, plus a Mythic skin for Mei.

Blizzard has confirmed that the next wave of Mythic hero skins will feature Soldier: 76, Ana, Mauga, and Genji, with Mythic weapon skins in development for Genji, Hanzo, and Sojourn.

In an exciting collaboration, Blizzard is teaming up with Sanrio to introduce Hello Kitty and Friends! Expect adorable skins for Juno, Mercy, D.Va, Lucio, Widowmaker, and Kiriko, bringing Sanrio’s beloved mascots into the Overwatch universe.

As part of the yearlong Reign of Talon storyline kicking off with season 1 in 2026, players can look forward to Overwatch-themed skins for Tracer, Genji, and Sojourn, along with Talon-themed skins for Vendetta, Emre, Moira, and Mauga, all available through the battle pass.

Joining Mei, Orisa, Mercy, Tracer, and Kiriko on their rainy day adventures in 2026 are Roadhog and D.Va, who are getting new skins perfect for April showers. Roadhog’s skin embraces the muddy vibe, while D.Va’s cat-themed design gives her mech a whimsical Ghibli-inspired twist.

For those in love, get ready for Hazard and Soldier: 76, as these charming characters are set to make a splash in Loverwatch style.

Dedicated Overwatch Stadium players will have three new skins to pursue, including an All-Star skin for Reinhardt and Elite-rank skins for Tracer and Sigma.

Blizzard has also teased Void-themed skins for three characters: Venture, Sigma, and Illari.

The next Competitive weapon skin theme is Crimson Wolf, tying into the Talon-centric narrative that will unfold throughout Overwatch in 2026.
