As we approach the release of Nioh 3, there’s been some confusion regarding the launch times. Depending on whether you’re playing on Steam and PC or PS5, the release times will vary, with a few exceptions where they align. Below, we’ll outline all the release times and dates for Nioh 3, so you know exactly when you can dive in, especially if you’ve preordered and downloaded it.

For those playing Nioh 3 on Steam and PC, the game will launch simultaneously worldwide at the following times:

If you’ve bought a digital copy of Nioh 3 on PS5, the game will unlock at midnight on February 6, 2026, in your local time zone, with staggered releases globally instead of a simultaneous launch like on PC. This means PS5 players won’t all start at the same time, and players in New Zealand will be the first to jump in. If you can adjust your PlayStation 5’s region or have an account registered in New Zealand, you might be able to play it early.

Prepare yourself for our Nioh 3 review, where we advise you to “get ready to be kicked, stabbed, flattened, burned, shot, bitten, and much more.”
