We’ve all been dreaming of a cat with a jetpack in Overwatch, and now it’s finally happening! Introducing Jetpack Cat, the new support hero who uses a flying mech to heal teammates and transport them across the battlefield.

Beneath her adorable exterior, Jetpack Cat is a formidable force in combat. Her abilities are more intricate than they seem, making her a valuable asset in skilled hands. She’s set to launch on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, alongside Anran, Mizuki, Domina, and Emre.

Jetpack Cat boasts 225HP and compensates for her lower health with impressive mobility and utility. Classified as a Tactician in the new subrole system, she can carry over excess ultimate charge to the next one. This role suits her perfectly, as she can maneuver allies around the battlefield and even drag enemies with her ultimate. Small but mighty, she’s a true game-changer.

Here are Jetpack Cat’s abilities:

Ability

Type

Effect

Biotic Pawjectiles

Primary weapon

A mid-range projectile spread that heals allies and damages enemies.

Frenetic Flight

Ability

Accelerate in your current direction, consuming fuel to move faster. Fuel recovery is slower while you’re carrying another player.

Lifeline

Ability

Toggle into transport mode, allowing an ally to be towed, so long as they accept. Increases movement speed and heals the ally.

Purr

Ability

A pulsing area heal that increases frequency over time. Knockback nearby enemies when activated.

Catnapper

Ultimate

Dive towards a targeted location, knocking down enemies and tethering the nearest one to you.

Jetpack

Passive

Gain permanent flight.

Check out Jetpack Cat’s perks that you can unlock during matches:

Minor:

Major:

Jetpack Cat’s perks may not seem thrilling, making the choice between minor and major upgrades a bit tricky. Your selection for a minor perk will largely depend on your playstyle. Claws Out is a solid option, dealing extra damage and slowing targets, but it does put you at risk, especially with her low health. Transport Shielding is great if you often carry allies like a mobile turret. Personally, I lean towards Claws Out, darting in and out of the action.

For a major perk, I prefer Territorial to boost damage in team fights. While it doesn’t add a lot of damage and removes knockback, it’s still useful and synergizes well with Jetpack Cat’s abilities.
