Attention, Borderlands 4 players! Gearbox is gearing up to deliver a wealth of new content for you.

It all kicks off on February 26 with Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon, the first paid DLC for Borderlands 4, alongside a “major update” introducing the new Pearlescent rarity tier. Then, in March, the game will launch its first Story Pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, featuring the new playable Vault Hunter, C4SH.

That’s a hefty amount of content, and yes, it will come at a cost. The Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, which includes Bounty Packs 2 through 5, is priced at $40 (that’s $20 less than the base game). Gearbox also mentions that you can purchase each pack individually. The price for Story Pack 1 is still under wraps, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam, Epic, and the Xbox store.

“As a quick refresher,” Gearbox states, “Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned will introduce an all-new region of Kairos, new story missions, and the first new Vault Hunter for Borderlands 4.” This Hunter, C4SH, was once a casino dealer bot before embarking on adventures for cursed artifacts. His Action Skills are inspired by the high-stakes unpredictability of his gambling past, promising “good fortunes” like buffing himself and allies, dealing massive damage, draining enemies’ strength, and more.

If you’d rather keep your cash, the Borderlands 4 update introducing the Pearlescent tier—superior to Legendary—will be available to all players.

Gearbox has confirmed ongoing support for Borderlands 4, expressing optimism about the title despite its launch being “a bit softer than we would’ve liked.”
