The Arc Raiders Queen stands as one of the game’s most formidable foes, fiercely guarding valuable objects known as Harvesters, which are essentially treasure-filled bunkers. Defeating a Queen is no small feat, but it’s an exhilarating challenge worth tackling a few times for the rewards and thrill of facing one of the game’s ultimate adversaries.
It’s crucial to note that taking down a Queen solo is nearly impossible. Thankfully, the community has cultivated a solid etiquette for these encounters, with teams collaborating to bring her down and unlock the Harvesters. However, be aware that there’s always a risk from other players.
The Queen’s primary weak points are the Core located in the center of her body and her leg joints. Both are armored and require the right weapons and explosives to expose. Once you can reach these areas, you can inflict significant damage. Targeting the front of the Queen, particularly her face, is an effective strategy for removing armor. The Core is easily identifiable by its glowing red color, which stands out against her metallic exterior.
When the Core is exposed, it becomes especially vulnerable, even more so than the joints. If you can use a Snap Hook to climb onto the Queen’s body and plant a Deadline mine directly on the exposed Core, you can deal substantial damage. However, this approach is risky and requires careful execution. It can also serve as a means to break through her exterior armor.
If you’re gearing up to face a Queen in Arc Raiders, prioritize high survivability and equip heavy-duty armor-piercing weapons along with explosives. Here are some recommended weapons and items to bring along if you have them.
If you lack the top-tier Arc Raiders guns mentioned earlier, consider alternatives like the Renegade, Torrente, and Ferro. However, the weapons listed previously will give you the best chance of success. Without them, your odds may not be favorable. Some players have reported success with stun weapons like the Showstopper, but my experience has been hit or miss, so I can’t vouch for it too highly—results may vary.
When preparing to engage the Queen, ensure you have adequate cover. Ideally, find a building or bunker with a roof to shield yourself from attacks, as you’ll need protection from both sides and above. Once you’re in position, target the weak points as discussed, and brace yourself for the Queen’s subsequent attacks.
The Arc Raiders Queen disintegrates into multiple pieces upon defeat, each of which can be looted individually. The potential rewards are extensive enough to fill much of the Arc Raiders Loot Cheat Sheet, including:
Keep in mind that other players often rush in to loot quickly, so if you’re not ready to contest for the spoils, you’ll need to act fast to secure your share. The best loot is typically found on the main body, so aim to be close to the center rather than the legs.
Additionally, the Queen always guards the Harvester, a small landing craft packed with loot but also rigged with traps and defensive systems that must be disabled to access the treasure safely. It’s often possible to do this without defeating the Queen, especially if other players are distracting her.
The primary rewards for your efforts include the Jupiter (a legendary sniper rifle) and the Queen Reactor, which is essential for crafting both it and the Equalizer. With the introduction of the Arc Raiders Trophy Display project, many of these drops also contribute to completing that.
