iPhone 17e Set to Debut Soon Featuring MagSafe and A19 Chip

Almost a year after the debut of the iPhone 16e, Apple is gearing up to unveil the iPhone 17e, as reported by Mark Gurman. This new model will come equipped with the enhanced A19 chip from the iPhone 17 series, support for MagSafe charging, and will incorporate Apple’s proprietary cellular chips. Notably, the price is expected to remain at $599, despite rising costs for RAM and storage.

Gurman indicates that Apple aims to market the iPhone 17e aggressively in emerging markets and to businesses. With minimal changes anticipated from the Pixel 10a and Samsung concentrating on the premium segment, Apple sees a strategic opportunity.

Additionally, Apple is likely to introduce an updated iPad and iPad Air around the same timeframe, along with refreshed MacBook Pros and a MacBook Air featuring the M5 processor. The base iPad will transition to an A18 chip, enabling support for Apple Intelligence, while the iPad Air will upgrade to an M4 chip and switch to an OLED display.

Gurman suggests that we can expect most of these announcements by early March.
