The latest episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has achieved one of the highest ratings in the Game of Thrones franchise, surpassing all of House of the Dragon.

Titled “Seven,” this episode boasts an impressive rating of 9.7 out of 10 on IMDb. This not only makes it the highest-rated episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms to date but also surpasses House of the Dragon’s best rating of 9.4, matching the ratings of seven episodes from Game of Thrones.

The top-rated episodes of Game of Thrones hold a score of 9.9, featuring iconic moments like “The Rains of Castamere” (the Red Wedding), “Battle of the Bastards” (the epic showdown between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton), and “The Winds of Winter” (where Cersei Lannister orchestrates a devastating explosion, Daenerys Targaryen sets sail for Westeros, and Jon Snow’s true identity is revealed).

One episode from Game of Thrones is rated at 9.8: “Hardhome,” showcasing Jon Snow and the Free Folk battling against the Night King and his army of wights.

Episodes rated 9.7 include “Blackwater,” featuring Tyrion’s clever use of wildfire, “The Lion and the Rose,” where Joffrey Baratheon meets his end, “The Mountain and the Viper,” highlighting Oberyn Martell’s duel with the Mountain, “The Children,” depicting Tyrion’s escape from King’s Landing and his confrontation with Tywin Lannister, “The Laws of Gods and Men,” which centers on Tyrion’s trial, “The Door,” revealing Hodor’s tragic backstory, and “Spoils of War,” where Daenerys rides her dragon into battle against the Lannister forces.

Thus, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms stands alongside some of the most memorable episodes in Game of Thrones history. In “Seven,” Dunk faces a Trial of Seven, where seven knights from each side will clash. Aerion Targaryen’s team includes his father Maekar and the Kingsguard, while Dunk’s team features Lyonel Baratheon and, in a thrilling twist at the episode’s conclusion, Baelor Targaryen.

The spin-off has also become the highest-rated first season of any Game of Thrones series on Rotten Tomatoes.
